Alain Bizos

Alain Bizos makes an original contribution to the debate about art and the news which has been ongoing in different forms and for several decades in the world of photography. He is not among the visual artists who since the 1960's have diverted press photos and used them as a mean of criticism, neither is he among the reporter photographers who see the art market as a new outlet for their craft, nor is he among the artists who, in an attempt to differentiate them more, situate their works at the boundaries between these two worlds.
