Yves Trémorin was born in 1959 in Rennes. After graduate studies in mathematics and numerical analysis, he devoted himself to photography. His main areas of work are: staging in a rigorously parameterized device, the use of the photographic medium in its own specificity, work on his relatives and his environment, intimate close-up vision. He is one of the most important representatives of the French photographic scene and exhibits regularly in France and abroad. He was part of the collective Noir limite with Florence Chevallier and Jean-Claude Bélégou.
