"Pink Man, a male figure clothed in a ridiculous shade of bright pink, manifested as an idea of the artist when he realised the infinite growth of what tended to be referred to as "development". The concept of "development" has instilled endless desire in people which inevitably triggers overconsumption. The narratives of the Pink Man represent Manit's concept of travelling with a large shopping trolley that essentially acts as a vehicule  of consumption. The caracter appears in social, political and economic discourse, responds to the history of Thai art and Western history, and traverses both national and international locations. The plots occasionnaly evoke anger or humour, often instilling a repeated feeling of past disapointment. Pink Man began his journey in 1997, and is still currently on his travels."
