Real Edges

The Bosnian War ended 25 years ago and the country seems immersed in a lethargy, where each person wanders through their own era, in their own beliefs. “Les Bords reels” paints a picture of Bosnia today: fragmented, ghostly, disorientated, vibrant and chaotic all at the same time. Adrien Selbert takes the bodies as witnesses. Their gestures and postures convey the country’s status, revealing the breaking up of myriad communities and beliefs, as after an explosion.
