Catalog exhibition Anita Conti - Loustal

Nicknamed the Lady of the sea, Anita Conti (1899-1997) was a remarkable woman for more than one reason : oceanographer, ecologist ahead of her time, author of beautiful tales and poems and overall photographer.
The Galerie VU' dedicates an exhibition to the one who has testify about sailors' harsh living conditions at sea by sailing in order to gather informations for her oceanographic researches. Her pictures encounter the images of the illustrator Loustal, author of comic books with a wandering's atmosphere, which salutes her with all the affection and generosity of the traveler in love with the same world.
