During two years and until his death, which they both knew was going to happen soon, Xavier and Steeve met up every Thursday at 3pm. Xavier actively took part in this work and both of them photographed each other, in a 6x6 format, in black and white and in colours. « I wanted to capture the evolution of his photographic look through time and throughout our meetings » Steeve Iuncker explains. Each week, Xavier would select his favourite portraits among the ones they took during the previous session and would explain to Steeve his choice within a few words that are quoted in the book.
Xavier died on a Thursday.

This book is an important work in the contemporary history of photographic portrait.
