A student of Paul Maymont, a leading figure of utopian architecture whose work was exhibited at the Centre Pompidou, Emmanuel Di Giacomo has been exploring the boundaries of the imagination for more than 35 years. Influenced by Italian Futurism, this Franco-Italian architect began early on to conceive parallel worlds, fictional characters, and flying machines, merging nature with modernity.

This boundless creative vision found its essential technical catalyst in his passion for digital technologies. It is also deeply informed by his interest in the concept of analogy as theorized by Aldo Rossi, one of the leading figures of the La Tendenza movement. In contrast to the idea of an ideal, fully planned or purely functionalist city, Rossi viewed the city as a culture and a history in constant reconstruction. This perspective, closely tied to Lombardy in Rossi’s work, resonates directly in Di Giacomo’s major project, Utopic City. Begun twelve years ago, this ongoing creation reinvents Rome and Milan ex nihilo through dreamlike urban landscapes, where the traditional architectural forms of the past are reborn through the lens of the virtual.

His distinctive style combines pure artistic invention with architectural rigor. Beyond his personal creations, he shares this expertise as a globally recognized evangelist for 3D solutions, helping professionals in the construction industry shape the architecture of tomorrow.
