Fifteen years ago, And Studio was little more than an idea—a shared ambition between Duccio Cardelli and Ning Wang. After spending 12 years at Christian de Portzamparc’s practice (Pritzker Prize, 1994), they founded And Studio Paris in 2014, soon followed by a second office in Shanghai. Since then, the firm has developed projects around the world, collaborating with leading international and local experts. Composed of professionals deeply committed to the territories in which they work, the team places human needs at the center of its design process. Their international trajectory gained further recognition with the AFEX Grand Prize 2025, honoring their innovative approach to landscape integration in Asia.

Believing that architecture reflects its time, values, and cultures, the duo creates places for meeting and exchange that move beyond rigid standards. Their goal is to connect communities, improve quality of life, foster knowledge, and above all, respect the planet. This philosophy is embodied in projects such as the Tibet Museum and the Chengdu Cultural Center. Inspired by the flight of a wild goose, the latter features an ultra-light timber-and-steel structure, demonstrating how innovation and emerging technologies can serve well-being, landscape, and natural light, while fostering the connections needed to create ideas that resonate with our time.
