Wild Rose

After Volta, her essential work, printed twice and now out of print again, and Terres basses, a darker book in which she reflected on her mother’s death, Gabrielle Duplantier returns with a new project, Wild Rose, reconnecting with the luminous photography discovered in Volta. After a series of travels and the lockdown period, Gabrielle Duplantier returns to the family home, surrounded by woods and near a lake. There, she builds her own house, like a refuge, a raft. This place allows her to reconnect with herself, to truly be herself… In this wild setting revolves a small community: family, friends, children… all surrounded by a primordial nature that she photographs with grace.
