For 25 years, Yuksek (Pierre-Alexandre Busson) has been composing albums, remixing, producing for others, writing music for films and documentaries, and taking off for nights around the world. His travels are not those of tourism, waterfalls or temples; his pulse does not beat to the rhythm of marketplaces or business centres. From Brazil to Lebanon, from the United States to the Mediterranean, he photographs streets and skin, the breath of the world and the solitude of the musician on tour. His images allow for the melancholy that his music restrains, but also a form of gentleness, vulnerability, and oblique light.
