This reportage of 12 black and white photographs portrays the autonomous region of Iraqi Kurdistan, its mountains and its trees. For 30 years, Hien Lam Duc has been going to Iraqi Kurdistan to chronicle the great upheavals in the region. He has been able to forge close links with the inhabitants of the region. It is in this context that he has, during his numerous trips, documented the fabulous influence of the trees of Kurdistan, especially the "Barous".
