Graduate of the Ecole Nationale des Beaux-Arts of Lyon and of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs of Paris.
« When I take photographs I often feel like I am on the threshold of intimacy, especially during these moments of "vacancy", these common moments, that represent the most (and least) of my time… Nevertheless, quick, once the pictures are printed and edited, this set of photographs becomes a combination of forms that finds its legitimacy "between" the images. This way of working enables me to go «behind» these photographs and to get close to another field: that of fiction where intimacy shifts to indifference. These photographs, as speech becomes text, slip into a kind of narrative: from a simple diary to a "novel". »

The series mixes places (the castle La Rongère, near Vitré, where the poet, novelist and critic lived), situations and pictures of "women-animal", freely inspired by the book Sa vie, son œuvre (Gallimard, 1998).
