Recently, as I was trying to identify what I take when I take a picture, those words came out: a photography, one of those images I have in my head, even if I don't know where and how until the moment a glimpse in reality catches me- and glitters the cut to operate so that the image takes flesh and pairs with its inner trace that was still latent the second before.
In the 90's, I used to picture in sonnet. That, I didn’t know yet. I thought for a long time that I wrote them. But I just welcomed them, framed in the landscapes of the Tian Shan, Ardennes, Ostend or Kathmandu, Brussels or Hunza Valley. It was twenty-five years ago, rather thirty if you’re being generous, a portion of time. Some have been through them. Images (photographs?), born later from those sonnets have been wanting to open doors.
